Laura did two major projects for us, TeenLibris and the BenBella Books main site. Laura is absolutely phenomenal. She combines superb design sense with significant technical ability. Even more, she is fearless in new territory. When she’s asked to do something that she hasn’t done before, she does meticulous research and delivers a solution that you would expect from someone with deep experience in that area. She never overpromises, but she has consistently over-delivered. It’s very rare to find someone with both this mix of talents, and a deep commitment to getting things exactly right. She’s also handled a million boring little details for us, cheerfully. We have an number of additional projects lined up for her, and my only fear is that she’ll get so popular we won’t be able to afford her services.
